Review of Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007) by George W — 13 Mar 2010
Whatever the "proper" critics say, I thought this film was funny. Not hilarious, but certainly chuckle-worthy.
As a piece of family entertainment, the film has to be commended. The slapstick humour will never get old, and can certainly stand the ninety minutes, though some other jokes would not go amiss.
The plot, while interesting and well-paced, seems slightly stretched. However, this is not primarily a plot-driven film, relying instead on comedy to see the film through.
