The guy has way too much pride. He leaves his team, then 10 years late he expect and acts as if he was still good. The love story is cheesy, and you could tell they just tried to get girls to be interested.
I only liked that there is kinda morale as in he doesn't play for pride in the end, but for the love of the game.
