Review of Mozart's Sister (2010) by Christian C — 24 Mar 2016
Visually pleasing and ah all that music. I thought some actors' acting was so so.
Story wise: not 100% correct historically, but they had to create drama and modify the events a bit for the story's sake.
No one died and yet the ending was sad in that sort of "shrug, that's life" way. As they presented the same point as many historical films might show: it was tough for women, women had to stick to their own roles. Even if they had talents for the arts, it was not their field, face mockery or stay in the kitchen.
