Review of Mozart and the Whale (2005) by Sarah G — 11 Jun 2007
This is just a really sweet love story about a couple with Asperger's. Of all the excellent movies involving whales that I have seen recently (Whale Rider, The Squid And The Whale, and Orca - The Killer Whale), this is by far my favorite.
Aside from getting the clinical details right, this movie manages to capture the implications of an overdeveloped, private cerebral life for connecting with another person. Very well done.
