Review of Mozart and the Whale (2005) by Ali E — 15 Jun 2007
The name and then the synopsis intrigued me...and i'm really glad it did. An amazingly beautiful and simple love story. Sweet, shy, dreamy, fun, stressing normalcy, hurt feelings, broken smiles, birds, bunnies, friends, a montage of silly simplistic teary eyed laundry mat feelings, sundays & saturdays, caring yet care-free, pathetically clueless love.
The readiness and bluntness the million feelings and sounds flow with makes it a profound mindfuck for everyone who should experience and relate to and find sadness and happiness alike within themselves and end up loving.
like me. Best of all, the music/soundtrack is near perfection. cinco.
