Review of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) by Valerie S — 15 Dec 2018

When I first saw adds for this I thought wow, what an awful looking copy of Disney's cgi jungle book, comparable to one of those awful cheap bootlegs. But I gave it a watch, and this move totally one ups the Disney one! Ugly animals in comparison, but the story makes up for it 10 fold.

This is not your safe colorful images dancing around the screen for 2 hours kids movie, this is dark, bloody, and intelligent, and its done beautifully! WATCH THIS its amazing, but after your younger kiddos go to bed.

There is a handful of on screen death, and like at least three times when someone dies they zoom in and show the life leaving out of their eyes as they stop breathing. It gets dark, but its so worth the watch!
