The movie is Not a Disney film. It's like Mowgli, not a wolf, not a man , well movie wise, is not for children, nor for adults, but definitely for movie lovers. Ok, the cgi wasn't the best, granted, but the story ranks much more deeper when delving with the human nature.
The only downsize I found was the feeling yoi've seen it before, due to the visual similarities with Jungle Book, otherwise the movie, I truly believe, is a more mature and much better version.
