Review of Moving (1988) by Frank S — 22 Dec 2009
This is one of my favorite Richard Pryor films. The movie starts off like everything is ok... but the irony soon sets in. Things are just going too well for Pryor character, Arlo Pear. A new job, the perfect movers, Dana Carvey to transport his car.
But it doesn't take long for things to go downhill. The emotion exerted by Pryor is classic... he shows true emotion and plays the character to a tee. This one has you constantly wondering what will go wrong next.
