Both critics & audiences hate it so much.
Well, I had seen worse, so I don't find it that completely negative after all. As a matter of fact, even though for the bullshit directing, writing & irritating punches, there are still some viewable parts- like the segment with Kieran Culkin & Emma Stone, or the part with Chloe Grace Moretz in it, for instance; as well as some awkward but decent acting by Kate Winslet, Terrence Howard.
What I really wonder is, like everybody might has already asked, why a such 'honorable' cast is willing to taking part in this production.
