Review of MouseHunt (1997) by Lovro H — 03 Sep 2016

I find it odd that so many reviewers are critical of the special effects of "MouseHunt", considering it is not of a genre that requires minds to be blown with special effects! I would agree that there are a couple of scenes with early-CGI blemishes, but it was released in 1997 and I don't even know why I am still talking about this.

.. On that note, I think the main reason that a lot of people have rated "MouseHunt" poorly is because of the tendency to miss the point of the movie, and if you watch it with that in mind, you will not be disappointed.

Of course some of the gags are corny, but that is intentional and part of the fun of this surprisingly cerebral (if you are capable of noticing) and criminally underrated movie. There is not anything to dislike about "MouseHunt" unless you are one of those people that takes yourself too seriously and thinks everyone is impressed with your opinions (no one cares).

To sum up, if you let yourself have fun with "MouseHunt", you will really like this movie!
