It's something like the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but for a very different audience. However none of the songs are original, which isn't such a bad thing since the songs they do pick are grand, well written ones, that really fit into the sweeping love story.
Disliking melodrama, I remained guarded throughout, but I can tell, that for many this will be a cherished and loved movie, with grand and memorable sets and images, and for it's frenetic energy of extravagance and naive love.
