Review of Moulin Rouge! (2001) by Ronald N — 09 May 2013
If it's "A love-it-or-hate-it experience", I'll go to the "Hate-it". Stupid and flat acting with mediocre script and a lame, poor direction by Baz Luhrmann and the production.
The movie no innovate the musical genre, the opposite, it fails to "innovate" the musical genre to plagiarize original songs (but good plagiarism) and create a story with no originality and no definition of "love", the theme that this crap called "movie" is surrounded.
There's no story, there's style, giddy, over-the-top spectacle."Moulin Rouge!" Hell, it's so wrong!
