The first 45 mins. to one hour is bearable ... it even provokes some laughs ... but thereafter the movie comes completely off the rails. The last 45 mins. to one hour is absolutely horrible. Sudekis and Hudson are both very good, but even their performances can't redeem what should have been relegated to a Lifetime movie .
.. and a marginal Lifetime movie at that. I hate to say it, but Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston are pretty tough to watch. It just felt unpolished and unprofessional (not so much from the actors as the writer(s), producer(s), and editor(s)).
Don't go see it. And, what's more, don't even rent it. Wait until it airs on Lifetime. And, even then, just let it run while you do something else like work or cook or laundry ... or vacuum.
