Review of Mother's Day (2016) by Mjr R — 31 Oct 2016
Mothers Day was another ensemble cast movie like Valentines Day but this time they actually made it tolerable. Valentines Day made you walk away annoyed like you wasted your time. This on the other hand was no academy award winner but for what it was, it kept you entertained.
The cast was better thought out too, Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Biel just didn't land on headliners for the prior but Jennifer Aniston brought her friends charm and Julia Roberts brought her typical strong acting to make this a movie that is ok for a Saturday Night HBO movie.
The plot made sense and was cohesive across all the intertwined stories. If you are looking for a light Romcom to watch this will give you just enough enjoyment.
