Review of Mother's Day (1980) by Christopher M — 30 Jun 2010
This has it's moments, but eventually it falls flat and becomes little more than your typical "dumb people head into the middle of nowhere after being warned by a creepy redneck not to and all goes to hell" at least there weren't any deformed mountain men in this one, even though Ike, with the green teeth, was pretty damn close.
The acting's really not too bad though and all the gore looks alright for a low-budget movie, so they used their budget well, at least. Like I said, it has moments now and then, and the ending is pretty cool, but the majority of it falls flat.
Still relatively entertaining though, but not enough to make up for lacking elsewhere, which some movies like this can get away with.
