Uma tried a little too hard to be the frazzled mom/blogger, trying to keep it together. Her exasperation sometimes felt forced. She is struggling with what everyone struggles with, kids or not, so nothing unique here, and not terribly funny where they meant for it to be.
Less about the daughter's birthday party, more about her identity crisis.
