Review of Mother and Child (2009) by Victor W — 19 Oct 2010
This film is pure drama, and all about life-changing decisions (childbirth, adoptions, relationships etc). Stellar performances by outstanding cast (how cool is Naomi Watts?? and great to see Samuel L Jackson without a gun in his hand), but the film left me feeling quite drained once I got off that emotional rollercoaster.
Ideally watched with a bottle of wine, a blanket and a box of tissues at home on the sofa!
