A more accurate title might have been "Women Being Punished for Their Ability or Inability to Reproduce." This movie was painful, though not entirely in a bad way. The performances were masterful as was Garcia's work both behind the camera and with his uncomfortable dialogue.
Turns into a powerful, moving drama even though the characters are quite imperfect and sometimes unlikeable.
