I think the best description I can offer is that Its a very smart biblical (a lot of references to Catholicism) thriller movie with twisted imagery. It did somewhat remind me of black swan but I think this is definitely more of a thinking mans movie don't go into I thinking that you can sit back, relax and be entertained .
... No.... You do have to do work and put things together (nothing is spelled out) but honestly that is part of the charm. It can defiantly bring up some interesting conversation after viewing it and but I really loved this movie because I think that not enough movies these days stimulate your mind in this way.
To wrap it up I would see it again only because I feel like I missed somethings here and there and maybe I would come away with something different on the 2nd watch but I think I will wait till its out of theaters to do it .
*My Advice* Pay very close attention to the opening scene because it will help the end scene make a lot more sense (I caught it but my fiancé did not so fair warning it's not crazy obvious). Good Luck!!!
