We complain that we hate hate hate this movie, but the real horror of what we humans are doing to each other and to our planet every minute of every hour of every day is immeasurably worse than what Aronofsky has put on the screen, and we are reminded of our complacency by our desire to avert our eyes.
The mistake was marketing it as a horror flick with JLaw, but it is so not that. It is a masterpiece.
