Review of mother! (2017) by Ka K — 25 Sep 2017

I am shaking writing this review for how visceral and profound of an impact this movie had on me. I have such a deep connection and compassion to both of the characters and their connection/relationship to one another at the same time.

I literally cannot do a full review with my interpretation without giving away spoilers, so I will wait until I see it again to confirm my reactionary feelings to the relationship of creator to fandom but I am blown away by the concepts explored in this film and how much of a emotional reaction I am feeling at this moment.

I considered Aronofsky my favorite director before this, and this solidified it. I may write a full interpretation sometime soon for those that may want my insight on what this movie meant to me!
