This movie was filled with twisted violence and symbolism, which, when combined with religion, can be truly bizarre. It uses people's fear of the unknown against them. The intruders have no logic or goal.
They just come up with new ways to be terrible. What frustrated me about it were the numerous comparisons to different topics like the earth or the bible. Because even the writer had no definitive answer.
Its just chaos and insanity for the sake of it.
