I think this movie deserves an 8 or 9 out of 10, but mark it at a 10 to counteract all the stupid criticism this movie has garnered. Yes, it's a criticism of religion. Yes, it went completely overboard, but goddamnit, this is a superb movie, from the theme to the acting to the camera shots and even the dialogue.
Where it struggles is in pacing, but the mere fact that someone patched together this bunch of madness into such a good movie more than makes up for it. Go into the movie expecting disturbing visuals, but come out pondering what life on earth is.
