One of my new favorite films! I absolutely loved it. I think one thing that has really done it a disservice is the marketing because a lot of the reviews appear really angry due to the viewer being under the impression they were going to see a horror film. I was never under that impression, but if someone was, I can see why they would be upset.
One of the things that has frustrated me is that so many of the negative reviews contain an admission by the reviewer that they didn't understand the film. I disagree with bombing a film just because you may miss the point or the plot. I understood it all, and I have to say that it was brilliant. Really a great film. That said, I think it is really important for most to go in knowing what the film is actually about because the confusion is leading to a lot of hateful reviews. For anyone interested in seeing it, read some of the reviews that actually reveal what the film is about. If you know what it is about, you'll likely appreciate it.
