Review of mother! (2017) by Dean C — 15 Sep 2017
The negative reviews here and the people who post them is brilliantly predicted by Aronofsky in the film as the uninvited violent destructive guests that they are. Perhaps it was too much to bear for these vapid or vengeful negative reviewers to have seen themselves in the mirror, on the screen, for those harrowing brilliant sequences of blunt destructive reality.
The frighteningly inspiring themes of Koyaanisqatsi are given blunt force trauma strength in Aronofsky's bold film. Understandably some people want to be entertained, eating sugar, in a cage, on antibiotics.
Aronofsky will rip that ventilator from out of your throats and your woke to the truth of that Matrix you were plugged into.
