15 seconds into this movie I knew that this film was doomed for disaster. As Jennifer Lawrence strolled from her bed with a walking posture similar to that of a AMATEUR Russian runway model... then stopped and turned 180° as if timed to a metronome I know that this movie was going to be pretentiously thrown together AT BEST!! It truly must be a sad state of affairs in Hollywood that icons such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, and Javier Bardem would waive their magnificent talents on this tragically under developed film. Darren Aronofsky's feeble attempt to create a thought provocative piece of work ended up being almost 2 hours of shock and awe...LITERALLY!!!! And from that perspective he succeeded as I was SHOCKED at just how horrible this film was just as I was left in AWE that I actually sat through the entire ordeal.
FOR SHAME!!!!
