The movie itself isn't a disappointment, but the way this movie was marketed is going to do this film a huge disservice! If I would have known that I was going to see something like this I would have been much more receptive to the film.

Throughout the trailers and a lot of previews I seen, I thought I was about to see the next Rosemary's Baby / get out / satanic cult something. What it turned out to be was thought-provoking, but I didn't pay to be lectured.

I wanted to get a good scare, and be entertained. I left this movie feeling both guilt and shame that I wasted my money. And then a huge blow of disappointment that I couldn't get a refund. I feel bad because the film is kind of cool.

But it's not what I paid for. It's literally like getting your mouth watering for an animal style In and Out Burger with bacon, and they actually bring you a shrimp burrito from Senor Fish. Complete opposite and not what I was expecting.

Even though the quality was there, I had a taste in my mind to be satisfied by having the s*** scared out of me and instead I walked away feeling frustrated at the current state of humanity. What a bust!
