WARNING!: mother! May leave you picking not-so-subtle-religious-metaphors out of your teeth for a few hours after watching. It is SO worth it though.
What impressed me most about this film was the gradience in both tension and willing suspension of disbelief. It starts out slow and gradually steamrolls into madness and obscurity. This film feels like a bad dream. It is more shocking an disturbing than any other horror film I have seen in 2017. .
