Mother! is almost impossible to review...i saw it and was left...disturbed...fascinated and made me think deeply about society and the human race...
Mother! to me is more a statement and art than a movie, its a movie that gives you well nothing and makes you make something out of nothing which is by no way a bad thing but it is hard to review something like this.
Acting would be 5 stars no doubt but seeing as the movies conclusion gives no answers as to why or how these gruesome and strange events happened, I cant give this movie a rating.
However I highly disagree with what critics say and yes its a bit to strange for mainstream but I dont think its aimed for mainstream and this reminds me alot more of a indepent film festival kind of movie rather than a world wide cinema movie....
When Mother! comes out on Bluray I will gladly buy it as I love movies that make one think...but this movie is not for everyone but I do recommend you watch it as it is a journey!
