If you like Edvard Munch's "The Scream" then who knows, you might like this movie. If you think that painting is just a mess of colors and not really all that interesting than you might consider passing on this film. It's too metaphorical, too nonsensical and messy for most to appreciate.
"I'm sure someone will understand what I meant with this scene and that scene and..." - no they won't so stop being a weirdo mr Aronofsky.
