Spectacular retelling of the Old Testament but I don't find it original in the least. On the contrary in its attempt to be thought-provoking it is pretty conventional. The hackneyed theme of exposing the Bible and the Old Testament in particular is pretty tiresome.
The only thing that is really good is Jennifer Lawrence, her acting is much more enchanting than all the action around her.
