Amazing film, it had me and my boyfriend talk about it for days afterwards, there's so many themes and it makes you question everything. There is no point in trying to figure out the true meaning of the film, you just have to go along with it.
Most of the bad reviews are from people Expecting to see a simple horror movie and that's not what it is,. If you HAVE seen any of the directors other movies (black swan or the Wrestler for example) you would understand that nothing this director does is typical, and that's the beauty of his movies.
The shots are also beautiful too, to be honest everything about this movie is great, just don't try to understand it all or else you'll hate it. Keep the Mystery. it's better that way :).
