This movie is brilliant in all the senses. It cannot be horror as the trailer presented it but it's a clear criticism of the religion and the impact that humans have on the planet earth. We need to celebrate this kind of risk that only a few amount of directors are taking to elevate the cinema.
Aronofsky is a director, who gave us brilliant films like requiem for a dream and black swan, and with mother! he doesn't disappoint.
