Review of Moscow on the Hudson (1984) by Aj S — 29 Jun 2010
What a terrific film, with one of the best performances in Robin Williams early latter part of his career. This seriocomedy, has political overtones about immigrants and how they will make it in America, and what they'll do to make it in life as an American.
Williams sweet & sentimental performances is really the highlight of the entire movie which leads it into a strengthful film. Although, the movie does open pretty slow for the first half hour, it starts to pick up right when Wiliams character finally arrives in NY after that we get things cooking about the American life, many of us have never seen before.
