I saw this movie based solely on a review I read on the internet. the review stated: morvern callar must be scottish for stupid cunt. I was intrigued. the movie has a lot going for it; samantha morton is a great actress and delivers a fine performance as the title character but still at the end there just seems to be something missing.

my favorite part by far was the letter from her boyfriend, 'it just seemed like the right thing to do.'.
