Morvern callar is one of the best films ive ever seen in terms of sound design and soundtrack being interplayed..there is a great link between the cassette she keeps playing and the soundtrack of the film.
..the opening sequence is amazing all you can hear is a flickery christmas tree and it pans out to reveal a dead body..the party scene in the film is one of the best ive seen of people on drugs and fucked up obviously for insurance purposes you could not have alcohol or drugs on the set but this looks like they maybe ignored that! sam morton as great as ever in the lead role.
.what an actress.
