Review of Mortdecai (2015) by Rini H — 24 Jan 2015

So I just recently saw the film Mortdecai and walked out rather satisfied. I see alot of critics opposing my thought but it is finally good to see a crime caper with more than just utter stupidity. Society is brainwashed in thinking that you have to be out of control and ridiculous to make an audience laugh and in this film hits the true essence of a comedy. I would much rather watch a film like this then a obnoxious Will Ferrell. Melissa McCarthy Esq movie. The everyday comedy we see is what ruined Saturday Night Live!!!!!

Johnny Depp did an terrific job and his comedic timing was excellent. Most actors would do their rendition of Peter sellers or the awful Steve martin versions of The Pink Panther series but Depp held his own!

Now lets not forget about the wonderful role that Paul Bettany portrayed as well. He is a actor who is often overlooked but not this time!

This is the type of movie that would be a fun series of sequels like the Pink panther was! I will keep my fingers crossed!
