Review of Mortdecai (2015) by Cassius M — 07 Feb 2015
Johnny Depp has grown a mustache and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't like it which constitutes a marital crisis. Take a moment to take in just how utterly dumb and unfunny a premise that is, and then realize that not only did the writers of this film find it funny, but so funny in fact that they made it one of the main conflicts and running gags of the movie, returning to it over and over and over again. Then take a moment to sit and stare into nothingness as you try and comprehend how an actor as immensely talented as Johnny Depp could've sunk this low by delivering a performance so grossly overacted that it just might the be the worst one of his career.
