Review of Mortdecai (2015) by Bo L — 04 May 2015
Entertaining and often funny film, that while predictive and despite a slight misstep with vomit humour, never veers to far into the really goofy and silly nor allow any of it's characters to be truly misplaced stereoptypes in a serious world.
The humour that works is mostly centered around a few choice items such as Jock, Martland's love sickness and Mortdecai's bumbling ways, excentricities and his faboulous mustache. While not the most original film it does have it's moment of sheer fun.
