Depp's character is a rehashed Pirates of the Carribean accent, with the flare of Mr Bean facial contortions. Rare moments, thru the intensely-heavy dialogue, there were moments to chuckle.On the surface, chasing a round the world for something sounds exciting, but in general the movie was not very interesting.
There are times when quirky is funny and this movie was not.
