It's become universally apparent that Johnny Depp has played a parody of himself in the majority of his films in recent years, and painfully enough, Mortdecai is no different. Labeled under the comedy genre, I never laughed once throughout this stinkers running time.
Mortdecai consists of toilet humor, immature sex themes, a dull and generic plot, childish gags, lame characters, and of course Depps corny shtick. With its solid cast, I expected an at least half decent affair.
Sadly, Mortdecai is without doubt a strong contender for one of the worst films of 2015.
