Review of Mortal Thoughts (1991) by Archibald T — 24 Mar 2011
Cynthia played by Moore walks into the police station. She enters the interrogation room to be grilled by two investigators one of them being Harvey Keitel. Cynthia is here to talk about the events that transpired the night of Joyce's, played by Headley, husband James died played by Bruce Willis.
The entire film is based in this interrogation room as Cynthia tells her story about how James was abusive toward Joyce. There are a ton of flashbacks which felt very creepy and realistic especially how Cynthia and Joyce dispose of James's body. Now James is a real asshole and I could understand why they would even think of killing him. He's an awful human being. The "twist" at the end can be seen within the first 15 mintues and what caused it all to happen was in self defense, but getting rid of the body, now it's murder.
