Review of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997) by James V — 22 Dec 2012
It is the embodiment of cheesy 90s action and if you loved the 90s then this is a film I would definitely recommend. If however you are some little teenage brat born too late to have even heard of this film before then I would not recommend it, in that case I would recommend you consume a gallon of bleach.
My hatred of teens these days aside for now, this movie just like the previous film is super cheesy and that is part of the charm of the film. Also the great soundtrack that never fails to get you pumped up for the fight scenes serves this film perfectly.
When it comes to fight scenes you wont find any as good in todays modern crapfest of action films as you will in this movie and in the original Mortal Kombat movie.
