Why do video game movies have to suck?
Seriously, all movies based on games are pretty bad, and Mortal Kombat is no exception. Bad acting, crummy action sequences that rely WAY too much on slow-motion, a boring story, and lazy art direction (mists and ambiguous lighting EVERYWHERE).
