Review of Mortal Kombat (1995) by Ian I — 05 Jun 2015
Still watchable! Note: I evaluate B movies on a different scale.
Pros: This move has great action. Special effects, set, and props are passable because there was a focus on artistic design. Goro just proves this point. Pacing of the plot is adequate. Most importantly, this has one of the greatest non-Disney theme songs ever!
Cons: Script is painful. Plot has more holes than Shang Tsung. Sona reduced to damsel in distress; this would have been ok in 1995, but not anymore.
