Review of Mortal Kombat (1995) by Sterling W — 03 Nov 2010
A guilty pleasure from my youth, loved it. on rewatching it the flaws shine threw but that doesnt stop me enjoying the film.the cast are great especially ashby as johnny cage the best character.(though its blatenly obvious he didnt do all his own stunts!) and christopher lambert woodening it up as raiden the thunder god.
the fight scenes are excellent and pretty much the storys is built around them.the soundtrack is totally ott techno style which sounds awful but is infact totally awesome!!! one of the better video game/film combo's almost as fun a watch as playing.
