One of the best video game movies I've seen (Only second to Prince of Persia). The action is great giving us some fantastic martial arts. The special effects are good but not great. I also like the costumes.
Most of them resemble those in the game. Liu Kang's conflict is relatable in some ways to people who lost a friend or family member. This a great adaptation way better than the pathetic Street Fighter.
