I really disliked Mortal Engines. I thought the story, production, and even a lot of the acting performances to be bland, cliche, or derivative. The lengthy and numerous flashback and exposition scenes did nothing but drag the movie down.
The film itself feels very rushed and loud. I didn't find anything of substance here.
