Ok...is this a cinematic masterpiece? No. Is it a great movie? No. Is it going to win awards? No. But what it is, is a good, fun night out at the theater kind of movie. Itï¿ 1/2(TM)s visually great to look at and the story is easy to follow making it a good time.
And thatï¿ 1/2(TM)s ok. Not every film has to be thought provoking social commentary on the state of the world. Sometimes you just want to sit in the theater and eat popcorn and not think, and that ok! Mortal Engines is that kind of movie.
