Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Scott G — 02 Jun 2011
Morning Glory is a film I thought would be another generic romance comedy set in the workplace and another red cross against Harrison Ford's name - the only good movie he has done in the last decade was the 4th Indiana film - but how wrong was I? This film gets a big green tick in all departments for me.
A fast-paced, witty script, the direction, casting, and acting. Rachel McAdams and Ford are superb, possibly his best latter-day performance to date. They are strongly supported by Dianne Keaton. All the minor players have their moments of glory as well, particularly Jeff Goldblum and Matt Malloy as the weatherman.
Highly recommended.
